i do not having anything very funny to say.
everyone should see a movie called king of hearts. it is amazing.
today's artist:
David "Fathead" Newman
David met Ray Charles, who was working as a sideman with another group on the night's roster. They immediately bonded, both musically and as friends. Ray soon started his own band and called on David to be a part of his group. In 1954, Newman began a ten-year association with the Ray Charles band, starting as a baritone saxophonist and becoming the band's star tenor soloist. (Ray called David "Brains" and did not like to call him "Fathead.") In 1959, David recorded his first album as a leader. It was called "Ray Charles Introduces Fathead Newman" and it included Newman's dramatic and now famous rendition of "Hard Times." He returned to Dallas for a short time and led his own bands. Then he moved to New York where his career took off in many directions.
