tra-lala tra-lala

yoyo'sup kids. i would like to give a shout out to kevin zak for 2 reasons. one he just had a birthday and is now the ripe old age of 17. two he helped me come up with and encouraged me to use my new favorite word "shado" it is closely related to both creepo and shady. damn gena this is great.

so uuuuhhhhhh yeah, this one guy at work who is not even training me or is my boss in anyway asks me almost everyday now if i really like working i here to which i respond "its okay" every time.

i would like to give another shout out to Lauren and Cindy P-dogs. they invited and treated me to a movie yesterday. Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood was actually very good and not too girly (however there was a 1 to 30 man to women ratio in the theatre). it thought it was cast very well and not only did they find good old an young look-alikes but they kept the characters true to their school as the beach boys would say.

here are some words:

(i thought this was lauren's dad's name but apparently it meand much more than that.)

randy (RAN-dee) adjective

Lustful; lewd; lecherous.

Scots: rude; coarse.

[Probably from obsolete Scots rand (to rant).]

"(Mike) Myers, it turns out, is not at all the randy man-about-town he has often played in films and television but a happily married guy whose wife, Robin Ruzan, plays the role of off-screen critic and mentor." Mary K. Feeney, All About Comedy Cover to Cover, The Hartford

Courant (Connecticut), May 26, 1999.

Here's a story of a Randy who became Dave: http://www.inkdrop.net/name/

while i find this web site to be amusing and funny, now i would like to say that i happen to think randy or randall are both quite nice names and people should not take these things so seriously.

penchant PEN-chunt, noun:

Inclination; decided taste; a strong liking.

"Ben was a dreamy little boy," recalls Hiddy, who always thought her brother's penchant for reveries might lead him to become an artist or a great philosopher. --Thomas Maier, [1]Dr. Spock: An American Life

Field, in his personal comportment, maintained a penchant for austerity, a contempt for frivolity, and a "steely cold" disdain for any decision not based on fundamental business principles. --Roland Marchand, [2]Creating the Corporate Soul

Even as an adolescent bookkeeper in a trading house in Cleveland, Rockefeller minutely recorded his charitable donations in ledgers, which confirm that from an early age he had a penchant for giving money no less than for making it. --Ron Chernow, "Mystery of the Generous Monopolist," [3]New York Times, November 18, 1998

Penchant comes from the present participle of French pencher, "to incline, to bend," from (assumed) Late Latin pendicare, "to lean," from Latin pendere, "to weigh."

Synonyms: inclination, leaning, bent, partiality, penchant, predilection, propensity.

well i am very tired so i will go take a nap and?or find out what i might do tonight.
