sorry for the lack of updates. i am trying hard.

this past weekend i was in Chicago for the Bergstrom Beckstrom wedding. anyway i promised catherine that i would make a log of the trip to share with all of you readers and herself. kt helped me compile this log, here we go!

July 5, 2002

4:30 AM Ryan McMullen calls. He meant to leave a message on my(kt) cell phone but of course i answer. we talk.

5:00 AM my mom wakes up and tries half-heartedly to wake jessica up

5:14 AM my mom comes in and yells at me(jessica) to get up even though she said she would wake me up at 5:20. [i would like to bring up that is still six minutes away]i am confused.

6:48 AM we are finally on the highway. 6:00 AM my butt!!! i am mad sleep is precious.

9:03 AM as we exit the rest stop/Hardees/off route 80, who pulls in but the illustrious lexus with the cantoni's right inside. Gretchen tells me (kt) to get a.k. (book) from chris- chris tells me that Gretchen is reading it. i am too tired to argue.

9:08 AM my mom explains that she yelled at my dad to get up this morning. she said "hurry up!" and he said "my alarm will go off in a few minutes" and she said...

9:21 AM Northpark is pretty far north in Chicago - dad, mom- hence the "NORTH" park, dad- well i did not think that the location had to coincide with the name, mom- otherwise they would have called it "South" park

9:22 AM mom said that when she hands cash to people she says "heres a {amount of money}" and my dad replied "well aren't you perfect" mom replied "yes"

9:55 AM Cantoni's call to say that Grechen got a very expensive ticket for going 87 mph in Indiana.

9:57 AM mom and dad are comparing nails. mom- your nails are like stubs and you couldn't pick up a pearl"

10:00 AM (previous conversation returns with) mom- a straight pin either. also at ten am Jessica shouts "i have glue, Praise God!!!"

10:40 AM we just passed a limo from california in Indiana, wow and damn gena. dad informs us there is 67 miles to Illinios.
