done, toliets, visage, and sleep/laughing
2002-11-18 4:45 p.m.

whats up kids!

i am done with classes, now i just have some peski (sp?) exams to study for. i am staying on the ball mostly with the studying surprisingly enough.

ok so i was studying/looking for bryony and/or emily at donkey and this weird guy sat next to me. he was curtious enough to ask me i said yes but i couldn't handle close quarters with stangers so i left. so you're like big deal right, no, wrong! i turn the corner onto court street and almost walk into a photo shoot. this was amazing because this guy was taking pictures of three subjects each on their own toliets. he had them read magazine and sometimes talk to eachohter like it was perfectly normal for there to be pots on the open sidewalk. i would give that kid an A+ even if his photo project was late. way to make my day sir.

so uhhh yeah, ummm oh yes, a word:

visage VIZ-ij, noun:

1. The face or appearance of a person or an animal; -- chiefly applied to the human face.

2. Appearance; aspect.

Otherwise attractive, [her] visage is marred by the unfortunate fact that her "upperlip, as if impelled by the action of involuntary muscles, habitually uplifts itself, conveying the impression of a sneer."--Ronald Weber, Hired Pens

But his visage--knowing, kind, self-aware--tells me he has already become the man I knew as Baba.--Eric Liu, The Accidental Asian

With crew-cut blond hair and the stern visage of a drill sergeant, Kranz certainly looked the part. --John Noble Wilford, "The Moon or Bust," New York Times, October 8, 2000

My father had a few months of schooling, read grammar books so he could write vituperative abolitionist letters to the local newspaper, and lived under my mother's ever-disapproving visage. --Ev Ehrlich, Grant Speaks

agian you're like jess, come on, everyone know what visage means, i did not even bother reading it. i am perfectly aware of the fact that many people may be familer with this word, however, example #2 made me morally obligated to post this word. i am going to add that book to my list to read over winter break.

so much craziness, so little time.

one last story before i re-hit the books, apparently on sunday night around 4 am i started visicously and histerically laughing in my sleep for about 45 seconds according to my roomate and her friend that slept in my room. that is pretty sweet.

ok i gotta go, but remember kids, its LOG from BLAMO :)
