2002-12-02 9:13 p.m.

hello

so uuhhh yeah

word:

scion (SY-ehn) noun

1. An heir or descendant.

2. A shoot or twig of a plant, cut for grafting. Also cion.

[From Old French cion, of unknown origin.]

The joey (or scion) for today's kangaroo word is: son.

"One of the more lively moments at last week's get-together of a group of Iraqi dissidents was when Prince Hassan, Jordan's elder statesman, strode into their London meeting-place. He then embraced a scion of King Feisal, his murdered cousin and the last king of Iraq." A King For Iraq?, The Economist (London), Jul 2, 2002.

"Poetry is indeed something divine. It is at once the centre and circumference of knowledge; it is that which comprehends all science, and that to which all science must be referred. It is at the same time the root and blossom of all other systems of thought; it is that from which all spring, and that which adorns all; and that which, if blighted, denies the fruit and the seed, and withholds from the barren world the nourishment and the succession of the scions of the tree of life." Percy Bysshe Shelley, Defence Of Poetry, (written 1821, published

1840).

joey's are fun.

recently i have received some bizarre emails. one of them has the subject:We want your skin. the other has the sender as Aubrey and the subject as: Glendora suggests: I hate popup windows!

today was my first day back at Mameco. everyone seemed pleasantly surprised to see me. no body seemed saddened by my presence, although dwane was in a huffy mood, but he usually is and the browns lost so that did not help. i was done with my work at 10 am exept for the baking stuff which was to come out at 11:07 and 12:40. i then spent 4.5 hours cleaning. the chemical xylene or code #184 smells very bad and gives me a headache. i was glad to see the when i blew my nose it was black. it makes me feel very healthly and safe. :)

i was hoping to get in some overtime but it looks like there is not enough work for me to do in my regular 8 hr day so oh well.

i still am wearing the lab coat witht he name Aaron on it. they are like it takes to long for the coat to be made and it will get here after you leave. my solution which is not apparent to them is well i will be back in june and most likely every summer and most winters for the next three years so if they ordered it then i could have it for the rest of those times. and if they have no place to put it they could just send it home with my father that is there at least once a week.

i have not seen creepo john anywhere and i was very watchful. there was lots of people i did not see today as well so i dont know. i will not assume safety yet.

i must go hang surround sound speakers.
